When I decided to create a wedding collection, using pearls and gemstones, there really was only one jeweller I wanted to work with. Sophia Hargreaves has the most amazing eye and passion for beautiful and sustainable pearls. So with the bride in mind, we collaborated to turn simple naturally lustrous pearls into desirable, elegant wedding jewellery.
Designed to subtly embellish the bride and her dress with a hint of colour, shimmer and natural ethical beauty, this collection will enhance and flatter without stealing the show.
Using English summer garden flowers as inspiration for colour, shapes and natural simplicity, we set to work creating the collection.
The entire collection is designed in the Cotswold studio and made, by hand at Sophia’s workshop in Yorkshire, using ethically sourced pearls encrusted in silver.
The collection comprises a stunning selection of necklaces, bracelets, earrings and candy stacking rings from small subtle perfectly round pearl studs, lilac shimmering pearls mixed with pink amethyst stones, peach baroque pearls with peach moonstone cabochons set in 22ct gold vermeil to statement pieces that combine wonderfully organic rose bud shaped keishi pearls mixed with topaz faceted stones.
The shimmering stones are set into bespoke cap settings, with tiny petal details cut out of the setting to allow extra light through the stones. The jewellery has a luxurious and unique style, with every piece being hand finished with bespoke tear drop clasps, circle earwires or stud sequin fasteners, just as you would expect from handmade jewellery.
We can create a bespoke piece of wedding jewellery for your special day, engrave gifts, even remodel a vintage piece to give you something “old” on your very special day.
The collection includes cufflinks and bridesmaid gifts, shop the collection at www.indiamahon.com/bridal
